Recently, I was using Gmail to send myself some demo code.
I was surprised that a zipped file which contained a C# Visual Studio solution was blocked in Gmail.
I have tested uploading a zip file with an embedded .exe and without, it produced same result "Blocked for security reasons!"
This is one more nail in the coffin of Gmail.
Work Around
Upload to Gdrive and use my tool to share a GDrive Direct Download link to put in your email.
Not to mention that Gdrive, now a days is taking forever to finalize an upload. Seems it gets to 99% and then takes 5 mins to finish the upload.
