I get asked all the time to by my clients to provide a way to direct download URL to a file and NOT preview the file, especially if the file is large. It's often very confusing for novice users to have preview mode of file, such as PDF files which launch a separate user interface. Moreover, if the file is over 100Mb, the preview appears too slowly for most users, and they'll abandon the file.

I created many hacks through the years, but now the API in 2025 has changed to finally prevent this. It's been a good ride for 11 years, when I first create the original download maker in 2014.

For all other files like movies, and photos and zip files

2. Now we are going to copy the URL for this file from Chrome or Edge. This link will lasts 24 hours. 
   
   In Chrome/Edge history, select the file and Right-click on file to reveal Copy download link.
   
   
   
   
3. Share this link with others. Good for 24 hours, according to a user.
   
   That's the best I can do. No more hacking the API in 2025 it got too good.

1. Outlook.com->Actions->View Message Source. 
2. Gmail.com->More (down arrow to top right)->Show original.

Check for suspicious links, anything that does not originate from apple.com.

How to change the Font setting in Core FTP LE

To access the Core FTP LE Font setting, right-click in source local directory pane, and choose font to adjust your font preference. The default is 7 points high, and nearly impossible to read. 

Once you're connected, then you can change the font size for target (server) pane.

Beware, it seems things start to not fit, if font size is larger than 10 points. Kinda limiting.

Also, not a very intuitive location for setting this, since under Options would more likable.
