The most recent award, the "Wilshire Award for Best Practices in Metadata Management 2007," launched the company's consulting initiative. Metadata Consulting provides a wide range of consulting services from best practices initiatives, communities of practice and information architecture to .NET architecture and development. While integrating and implementing Microsoft technologies is the cornerstone of our work, we also work with open source including PHP (Wordpress, Moodle) and Perl.

The EZSAHS system is designed for veterinarians, wildlife rehabilitation centers and provincial parks across British Columbia to securely report demographics, diagnostics (disease and outbreak data), as well as laboratory submission information on a weekly basis for public health surveillance. The primary requisites included: secure and very user friendly reporting system with full case historical review, user report export to PDF, system wide emergency broadcast messages, email blasts, administrative dashboard for managers, user audit capabilities and upload document management system. Deliverables included;
